Check Structure

The structure check function ensures that the values in the 'Level' column do not violate structure rules.

For instance, when the table to the right is analyzed, a popup appears indicating that a level has been skipped.  The function highlights the error in the table.

In this example the structure goes from level 3 to level 5.  Level 4 has been skipped in error.

The function also checks for:

  • Blanks

  • Errors

  • Maximum level doesn't exceed a limit for some functions

  • Number of top levels of indenture.  Typically only one top level of indenture is used, but the user can choose to allow more in user preferences.
